As a member of the Dark Legion, he was a Great Marquis and ruled over twenty legions: but during the secession of the Nigromante of Tok-Thoria, he joined the ranks of the Nigromante, who promised him the rule over Zarhuy, where he became the viceroy of the Tok-Thorian holds on Zarhuy during the wars of the Nigromante and The Caliphate of the Orange Sun of Blazakhov, being proclaimed King. At these times, the Nigromante gave him command over thirty of his legions.
For some of his successes in the wars in Caritz and northern Zarhuy, human demonologists claimed that "He possesses the abilities of locating lost or hidden treasures, teaching trivium (grammar, logic and rhetoric) and making a man into a warrior of his own likeness. He could make a person to cross seas and rivers quickly"
Part of this description was the ability Cijmaries and his legions showed in sacking the rich Caliphate of Blazakhov, and how he was able to cross several times the Caritz, sometimes complete armies, under the nose of the Blazakhovian fleets, aside of using the underground passages of Kazrrad that linked Tok-Thoria, Aels, Zarhuy and near Hieyoks.
Cijmaries always presented himself as a warrior of godlike appearance; but as well, took the form of a black Car'Haad, or as of an angel. One of his most bestial forms he took was of a three-headed, fire-breathing lion-goat-serpent chimera.
