demon (from Unlic daimonion) is a supernatural, often malevolent being prevalent in religion, occultism, literature, fiction, mythology and folklore.

In Ancient Sky Age religions of Humans, a demon was considered an unclean spirit, a fallen angel, or a spirit of unknown type which may cause demonic possession, calling for an exorcism, while in other human religions and demonology traditions the demons were believed to be a spiritual entity that may be conjured and controlled.

The creatures that emerged from Mount Satanmet in Demonatch at the 1365 a.a.H, appearing while a time of religious conflict within the Empire of the Librarians of Dume will be identified as demons by Christians, as a mean to consolidate their position in the Dumian society, meanwhile the creatures did take the label for themselves, self-identifying as demons and enemies of humans, as they hoped to challenge human hegemony and gather under their banners the enemies of mankind in a Confederation of Free Peoples.

Aierian Demons[]

Unlike the demons of human religions and myths, the creatures that kept for themselves the name of Demons weren't supernatural or spiritual, but they kept a large amount of secrecy about their real nature.

Demons, or daemons, collectively known as Daemoni are beings of immense power and inscrutable origins that emerged from far beneath the ground under Mount Satanmet, beneath the southern Aels island of Demonatch. They would seek to claim their seemingly natural positions as masters of the world by unifying the races dispossessed by humans, the greatest threat of the daemoni.
