The Liohnese Rossnes Elves or Liobhragán are a nation and ethnic group native to the island of Liohn, who share a common Liohnese ancestry, identity and culture. Liohn has been inhabited since the 7,000 b.a.H years according to archaeological studies. For most of Liohn's recorded history, the Liohnese have been primarily a Sylvan elf people, (Rossnes) elves. Unlinne Dark Elfs and High elves conquered the island, before the arrival of human settlers and later Sargonic humans, that conquered parts of Liohn, before a later, more intensive conquest and colonization of Liohn, that brought a large number of Sargonic (see Sargos) and other humans to parts of the island, specially to the northeast. Today, Liohn is part of the Republic of Nicolia, and the Liobhragán elves are a recognized grey elven (see Grey elf) minority.
The Liobhragán have their own customs, language, music, dance, sports, cuisine, and mythology. Although Liohnese elven was their main language in the past, today most Liohnese people speak Nicolian. Historically, the Liobhragán nation was made up of kin groups or clans, and the Liohnese also had their own religion, law code and style of dress.
