The Joaquintopian Kingdom of Sargos, commonly known as the Kingdom of Sargos, JO or Sargos, is a sovereign state in Aels. Lying off the north-western coast of the Aelian mainland, the country includes the southern half of the island of Weseuria, sharing a land border in the north to HuncleApart from this land border, the JO is surrounded by the ocean, with the Polforian Sea to the east and the Strait of the Kings to the south. The Nicolian Sea lies between Sargos and Nicolia.

The insular nature of Sargos is a product of The Cataclysm of the year 2675 a.a.H, when Sargos was cut off from mainland Aels.

It is a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary system of governance. Its capital city is Millbridge, an important global city and financial centre with the fourth-largest urban area of Aels.

Sargonic Overseas Territories, formerly colonies, are the remnants of the Joaquintopian Empire which, at its height encompassed almost a quarter of Aiers's land mass. Sargonic influence can be observed in the language, culture and legal systems of many of its former colonies.

Sargos is a developed country, being among the higher economies of Aiers. The country is considered to have a high-income economy and it is categorised as very high in the Human Development Index - although, culturally, it was slower for them to get up to these standards the Non-human development index. It was among Aiers first industrialised countries and one of Aiers foremosts powers by the 3000's a.a.H. Sargos remains a great power with considerable economic, cultural, military, scientific and political influence internationally.

History

The Valley of Osorio before the humans[]

The Valley of the Osorio river had a long history of non-human settlement, back into the prehistory of the world of Aiers. Populated for long by beast people, it will see the apparition of sedentary, agricultural settlements of light elves, neroz and dwarves during the neolithic.

During the Early Elifc Age, most of it will be part of the Empire of Drow, until the fall of this first empire, which will see the Osorio valley divided in small light elven kingdoms, who clashed with beast peoples and dwarves, displacing them from the fertile valley lowlands.

The light elven kingdoms of the Osorio will prosper until the Late Elfic Age, when the Venerable Empire of Whide Axis reached the shores of the northwest, and they will use the quarrels between the light elven kingdoms of Osorio to ally with some, fight others and dominate all of them, founding their own High Elven kingdoms. The former light elves settlers, that resisted the high elven dominion, will escape to the mountains and the highlands, becoming known as Mountain (or Hill) elves.

During the Age of Invasions, the High elven kingdoms of the Northwest will face first invasions of green orcs, and while they where defeated, they had been displaced due the arrival of other orc group, the Galaw High Orcs.

This will lead to the High Elf-Galawkey war (278-412), between the high elven realms and the hordes of the Galaw High orcs, which will include mountain elves. While it was indecisive in nature the lengthy war, and while some significative territorial changes where made, these wouldn't last in time, as weakened both the realms of high elves and high orcs in Aels, which would be critical when facing the newly arrived Kanovs and Humans. The High Elf-Human wars will last from the 420 to the 500 a.a.H, and will result in the fall of most high elven kingdoms and colonies of the Whide Axis in Aels, while on the same time the Galaws kingdoms will fall.

At the 500 a.a.H, the valley of Osorio, while still not completely dominated by humans, will be under human hegemony, divided in small kingdoms and tribes, with their power still often contested by Kanovs, beast peoples, elves and orcs.

Weseuria

Between the 500 and 900 a.a.H, the north-west will then be dominated by proto-weseurian human groups. Divided in small realms, there will still exist independent non-human kingdoms and realms between them as well, and while war was frecuent, it seems from archeological remains there was some high degree of inter-relations between the different comunities, aside of war.

Approximately at the 900 a.a.H, will began to arrive new human groups: the weseuros. The Weseuros were an Tok-Aelian ethno-linguistic group which settled in northwestern Aels, identified by their use of the weseurian languages which diversified out of proto-weseurian starting in the Pre-Dumian period, after the fall of the first human civilization. Among the Weseuros, tribes of the Irsh, Spotti, Ingli, Tranks, Gaarmans and Tuchs settled down in the western bank of the Osorio river.

In the Osorio valley, the weseuros will conquer all the previous human settlements -and as well most of the remaining non-human controlled lands- creating six kingdoms in the Valley of the Osorio, becoming the Weseuros some distinctive human groups by the 1.100-1.200 a.a.H, according to dumian authors.

As Dume expanded to the Barlans river, it incorporated many Momb and riverian societies into the Empire. The tribal homelands to the north-west emerged collectively in the records as Weseuria. The peoples of this area were sometimes at war with Dume, but also engaged in complex and long-term trade relations, military alliances, and cultural exchanges with Dume as well.

At the end of the Age of Invasions -or early human age-, the Weseuros will be united under the Weseringian Dinasty. The Weseringian dinasty was founded by Aldaric I (c. 1657-1681) the son of Weser, leader of the Tranks, but it was his son Aleks I of the Weseuros (1681-1711) who united all of the North-West of Aels under Weseringian rule.

The empire however will be short lived, due a sucession crisis of the sons of Aleks I, and after about 32 years of conflict, it will be decided the division of the former human empire of the North West in the Treaty of Karentia.

The Kingdom of Sargos[]

The Kingdom of Sargos was officially founded at the year 1743 a.a.H, with the Treaty of Karentia, being one of the Five Human Kingdoms of the Northwest (see the Five Kingdoms of the Northwest. The territories that conform Sargos were the royal holds, in the west bank of the Osorio Valley, having as the capitol the city of Millbridge.

One of the first preoccupations of the new Sargonic kings of the Weseringian Dynasty would be the montangards Kanovs, that while the successors of Aleks I of the Weseuros squabbled and fought each others, the clans of the hills had become stronger and bolder, extending the reach of their raids to the lowlands. For about 40 years, it would be an continuous conflict with the Kanovs of the highlands, which weakened the royal power of Sargos, as the kings where unable to protect their vassals and had to make concessions to the nobles. While finally at the 1800's a.a.H the montangard Kanov clans treat will disappear, it will leave behind a legacy of bandit bands of former mercenaries, bandit lords and castles and fortifications in the hands of the noblemen, that contested the royal power. This situation of fragmentation will last most of the XIX century, but slowly the Kings of Sargos will began to try to regain some of their lost power to the noble families. Under the rule of King don Pablo Huneeus (reigned from 1930-1968 a.a.H), founder of the Huneeus Dynasty, after defeating in the War of the Dukes and the Cities the magnate -high nobility-, but thanks to an alliance with the cities and the lower nobility. After this, the figure of the King of Sargos will reach a much more centralized an important role in comparison to the other rulers of the Five Kingdoms.

Sargos, unified under the rule of their Huneeus kings, will begin to seek for expansion of their realm, wich will result in a first attempt of an expansion eastwards, to Degoland, in the first -and failed- First Degoland-Sargonic War (1974-1986 a.a.H). While finally unsuccessful in this expansion war against the powerful realm of Degoland, this didn't stop the imperial ambitions of the Huneeus. In order to prepare for the next war against Degoland, they wanted to expand their force and expand their realm, so they shifted their attention to the Kanov montangard clans of the Highlands first (Sargonic campaigns in the highlands, 1988-1994), and then, to the kingdom of Huncle. Sargos, who had achieved the support of the bishopric of Karentia, claimed to be the benefactor of the Order of Trébol, instead of the king of Huncle who hadn't paid the stipendium to the order, but this was really due the ambition of reaching the sea of Sargos: this will lead to the War of the Clover (1998). Successful in this expansion to the northwest, they will as well push to the south, annexing Botania at the 2006.

Having seized ports, they were quick to build a navy for Sargos, seeking to expand their control to the islands of western Aels, which will lead them directly to conflict against Valknyria, in the Sargos-Akresh war, (2014-2022 a.a.H). The casus bellum of the war was that the son of the deposed and brutally assassinated king of Akresh, Prince Joole asked for help from Sargos to retake his father's kingdom from the usurper Isai. In this war, the Akreshi and their usurper, backed by the grey elves and his loyal humans, defeated the newly created Sargonic fleets, having defended his island, but being unable to land a sizeable force in the Aelian shores, the Akreshi actions were limited to coastal raids.

The defeats at sea will stop the expansionist drive of the Huneeus, as they lost fleets and armies in their adventure in Akresh, and later were forced to defend the coastal lands against the raiders. As well, the successive expansion wars of Sargos, made that Huncle, Degoland, Tardos and La Cruz, fearful of the Sargonic expansion, made several wars against their Sargonic neighbours. But as soon one of the Five Kingdoms became stronger, the alliances shifted against the stronger of them: this situation of recurrent wars among the kingdoms of the northwest, will last for about 170 years, from the 2030 to the 2200 a.a.H.

But as the storm clouds of the Confederation of the Free Peoples shadowed over the human kingdoms of the northwest, some voices claimed for a union of humanity against the hordes that hold the banners of the Dark Legion: but most of these voices were unheard, until the First War of the Power (2203-2223 a.a.H).

One by one, the human kingdoms of Degoland, Sargos, Tardos, Huncle, La Cruz and Botania, fall to the imparable tide of the Dark Legion:

In Battle of Degoland the Degoland army fought alone against the Dark legions, as the Sargonic -under the rule of the king don Camilo I Huneeus (2191-2234) waited behind the Osorio river, hoping that the river would be enough of a barrier to stop them -being mistaken, and defeated as the Dark Legion crossed the Osorio and defeated the armies of Sargos in the Battle of Sargos. As the two kingdoms of the Osorio Valley fell, the kings of the west thought this would be the end of the demonic offensive, and while they reinforced their armies and fortresses, they didn't try to make a common front against such a powerful enemy.

In the northern front, the demonic forces who crossed at the Navatiak Pass -delayed due to the resistance of the Dwarven Mines of the north, in the Battle of Navatiak, arrived and began sacking the northern marks of Huncle, while other armies crossed the Oster Gate, sacking and destroying Huncle on their path. Against this, the armies of Huncle tried to face the dark legions, being defeated in the Battle of Huncle. This finally made the humans kings of the north-west realize the danger of the situation: this wasn't just other demonic campaign, but a war for which the dark legion had for long prepared.

The remnants of the armies of Huncle retreated to the south, to Trebol -a region that had been since the War of the Clover occupied by Sargos, where they joined the forces of the Military Order of Trebol and survivors of the sargonic and degoland armies: but closely followed by the dark legions, these armies marched to the south, to gather with the forces of the kings of La Cruz and Tardos, as well the forces of the archbishopry of Karentia. The Order of the Clover stood in their castles, trying to delay the advance of the dark legions from the north.

But the armies that advanced from the east fall over the forces of Tardos and La Cruz at the meeting point before the human Christian armies had gathered, defeating them completely. Later, when the forces of Karentia arrived, they where surprised to find instead of allied armies, the dark legions, being defeated as well. And in the same day, will arrive exhausted from their march the remnants of the armies of Huncle and Sargos. There, after the battle begun, the cavalry of Huncle will retreat, leaving their infantry on their own, and being their king captured by the Dark legion: these three successive battles are known as the Battle of La Cruz.

After this battle, the Dark Legion took a long time besieging and suppressing all the resistance points they had left behind in their initial assault, which would ultimately give time for the north-western humans to re-group their forces in La Cruz and Tardos, receiving supplies and support from Akresh and the Empire of Uslen.

In Tardos, the last mayor battle in the north in the initial phase of the war, the armies of humankind will be once more time routed. Tardos, and later Botania, had fallen.

Between the 2.203 and the 2.208, all the main human kingdoms of Aels had fallen, and only existed as pockets of resistance in the remnants and the weaker kingdoms.

However, some Sargonic refugees, who escaped from the fall of the Kingdom of Sargos to the island of Liohn, fearing that even there the Dark Legion could reach them, or the local subjugated population of Grey elfs could betray them, sent some expeditions to discover a new safe haven for them: and so, they discovered the Continent of Ushaenor, and they found the High Elven Empire of Whide Axis.

The human-elven alliance will be able to turn the tide of the war, finishing with a human-elven victory at the 2223 a.a.H, with the main demon lords imprisoned and the dark legion disbanded.

Thinking the victory was definitive, soon the human kingdoms of the Northwest began again to their petty disputes, this time over the spoils of war of the former dark legion, the right to set down colonies in Polforia and for the pre-war boundaries of their nations.

King Martin the Conqueror (2234-2297 a.a.H) in his long reign will expand the might and power of Sargos, actively mingling in the business of neighbouring lands -as in the Rivierie peasants revolts he suppressed in Huncle-, and as well extending his realm to the south, creating the River Guard, and doing campaigns against the barbarians of el yermo and the Kanov clans of the mountains, having as well lead some invasions of Polforia in defense of the human colonies, annexing the kingdom of Degoland at the 2265 a.a.H.

However, as the old warrior grow older, he couldn't ride anymore with his armies, and the influence of Sargos achieved by the might of the sword began to vanish in the neighboring kingdoms and Polforia, and as he died, Degoland will slip again from the hands of the Sargonic crown, being reinstituted the Degolandic monarchy.

While Sargos remained at the strongest military of the human kingdoms of the Northwest, after the costs of the expansion of Martin the Conqueror, his successors will live in a process of relative peace and prosperity of the kingdom of Sargos for the next century.

When king don Camilo II the Magnificent (2398-2428 a.a.H) became king of Sargos, he ruled the human nation of the northwest with the largest, strongest army and largest economy.

The Sargos-Degoland Union

Camilo II the Magnificent, King of Sargos, had as his first victory -a diplomatic one- the marriage with Princess Phillipe of Degoland, making a deal with her grandfather, King Diego V, that once he die, Don Camilo will become king of Degoland, due to the lack of a male heir to the degolian throne.

He became then the first king of the Unified Kingdom of Sargos-Degoland at the 2.399 a.a.H. Then, he proceeded to expand his influence and dominions, adding the archbishopric of Karentia and the kingdom of La Cruz to the west, and consolidating his control over Trebol and influence over the Kingdom of Huncle. As he supported the arts, science, culture and religion, began new efforts to settle in new areas and expand the areas of human influence: In the archipielago of Novaliohn, and closer, expanding the settlements to all the western bank of the Sargos river, and as well influencing Erenian, Botania, Tardos and other territories, such as the Olga's Wall, into the damned lands of Polforia.

However, his policies where toward the creation and conformation of a human, Christian kingdom, and so, the situation of the non-humans within the borders of Sargos worsened, as of the Montangard Kanovs -who rebelled several times-, grey elves and others.

Meanwhile, using a rhetoric of a crusade against the monsters, the armies of Sargos led a systematic cleansing of orcs, ogres, goblins and other creatures considered "enemies of mankind" of the annexed territories, being common the news of massacres, killings and persecutions of non-humans.

It was precisely the expansionist policy of Sargos toward their human neighbors -wanting to unify under Sargonic banner the Christian-human northwest- and the excesses against the non-humans, that triggered the Sargonic Wars (2407-2420 a.a.H), war fought against a coalition of Christian-human kingdoms -Huncle, Tardos, Akresh, and later, la Cruz, Enkelt- and the Montangards, Yermenios and Gorbegean kanovs, fight along with wars against orcs, goblins, demons and elves.-

Sargos will be defeated. With their capitol sacked and their cities destroyed, Don Camilo II the Magnificent escaped to Ushaenor, to the colony of Ne'Sargos, which was proclaimed at the 2420 as the Kingdom of Ne'Sargos. Meanwhile in Sargos, a pretender was raised to the throne of the union of Sargos-Degoland, who blamed Camilo II for the misery of Sargos after the war.

While don Camilo II The Magnificent will die in Ne'Sargos at the 2423 a.a.H, as the pretender of the throne in Sargos rule grew unpopular, due to the exactions and tolls and humiliations of Sargos to their neighbors, reading the moment, the Huneeus king don Camilo III (King of Ne'Sargos 2423-2440 a.a.H, king of Sargos 2431-2440 a.a.H) will return to Sargos at the 2431 a.a.H between the cheering of the crowd and the pretender escaping to exile in the kingdoms that once put him as new king of Sargos-Degoland.

While the other four kingdoms saw worried the return of the Huneeus, they were worried even more by the rumours of the return of the Demons, and as the fear of demons became a reality with the beginning of the Second War of the Power, many were thankful of the leadership role of Sargos.

While Camilo III was quick to rebuild again the fortifications and raise armies of Sargos at least to the point of the Sargonic Wars, and this time that the Northwest, acknowledging the danger of the Dark Legion -especially after the fall of Roccasone, he was able to lead an alliance of the Five Kingdoms:

But against the armies massed by the Dark Legion in their great invasion of Sargos at the 2440, there was little that the Christian human armies of the north west could do as they faced them in the battle of the plains of Sargos, and when the luck seemed to be all out and the fate of the Northwest sealed, a prophet appeared, commanding the Sands Beings, which -in what was called a miracle- meant the annihilation of the demonic army.

After this, having seen the might of the reunited Dark Legion, the princes of the Northwest heard the death-bed council of the Prophet, to hunt the holy relic of Eden to defeat the demon lords: and so they will prepare for the Holy Wars of Eden (2452-2499), in which the king don Camilo IV the Pious (2440-2464 a.a.H) will lead the sargonic efforts, and after his demise, by his brother, Camilo V the Warrior (2464-2499 a.a.H), who while ultimately defeated, was able to capture the holy relic.

The Holy Sargonic Empire[]

The leading role of Sargos during the Second War of the Power and the Holy Wars of Eden, granted once more time the title for Sargos to be the first of the Five Kingdoms. After the Holy Wars, and preying on this sense of Christian unity in the northwest, despite the defeats, Camilo VI will proclaim the Holy Sargonic Empire, becoming the first Emperor of it at the Christmas of the 2501 a.a.H.

Soon after being granted the imperial authority, the Emperor of Sargos Camilo VI sought to extend the imperial prestige and rule, beginning the Second war of the Titanizk Mountains (2502-2517 a.a.H.), in which would be incorporated into the empire Hannian and the Titanizk mountains into the Holy Sargonic Empire. He would as well involve the empire in the War of the Lost Cities at the 2512, as an effort to seek the "keyhole" to use the holy relic captured during the Holy Wars of Eden, to use it against the Dark Legion. Meanwhile as well was sought the expansion of the empire from Ne'Sargos in Ushaenor, annexing Chegarb, Momb and Keuta at the 2521 a.a.H., and would come the clashes between the human empire and the confederation Kanov kingdoms -lead by Gorbegea- and later the Kadralor Confederation in the Sargos-Kanov war (2530 a.a.H.) a series of wars that will last until the 2560 a.a.H., after 30 years of war, fought not only in Aels, but as well in Ushaenor, campaign that will be known as the War of Ne'Sargos -fought between the 2546-2560).

During the reign of Camilo VI will end the Second War of the Power at the year 2539 a.a.H, as the Dark legion had descended into the civil war of the War of the Four Black Kings, however the Holy Sargonic Empire wasn't able to capitalize this, as Aels will suffer the Great Plague, being hit at the 2543. being hit at the 2543. This catastrophic epidemic will cause the death of about 1/4 to 1/2 of the population of Aels, inner Hieyoks and northern Zarhuy. Elven populations suffer less the crisis, but because of this are blamed of the plague -as the demons- and some persecutions against them explode. The emperor, Camilo VI, will die of the plague at the 2546, being succeeded by Camilo VII.

At the 2557 a.a.H., while still was being fought the Kanov-Sargos war, the kingdom of Gorbegea, that was for long one of the leaders of the Kanov confederation, will join the Holy Sargonic Empire, which will be crucial for the end of the Kanov-Sargos war, as meant a change of politics in the human-kanov relations, as Gorbegea converted to Christianity. As well, with Gorbegean support, they will conquer the remnants of the Confederation of Kadralor, conquering El Yermo and most of the Kadralor possessions in Ushaenor at the 2560, which was the end of the Ne'Sargos and Kanov-Sargos war.

However at the 2558 a.a.H, the Montangard kanovs of Aels, pagans who felt betrayed by the Chirstianization of Gorbegea and them joining the empire, will begin the Montangards rebellion, which will last from the 2558 to the 2585 a.a.H. The Empire, that had been fighting an intermittent series of wars, will begin to be exhausted of the imperial wars that were being waged.

As well, the Christian empire, worried by the advance of the Caliphate of the Orange Sun of Blazakhov (see Blazakhov), will face them first in a series of border skirmishes since the 2565 a.a.H, which will later lead to war between both empires after the battle of St. Miliel at the 2574 a.a.H., that will last until the 2594 a.a.H.

After Camilo VI died, Camilo VIII the apostate will become the new Emperor at the 2585 a.a.H. He will try to reform the Sargonic Christian church at the 2586, causing irreconcilable divisions amongst the church. Due to the critics, Camilo VIII the apostate kill the Pope and the main members of the Church, beginning the crisis. At the 2587 a.a.H the Bishop of Breims is elected as Pope, meanwhile Camilo VIII choose an anti-pope. Camilo VIII is excommunicated, branded as heretical and an apostate, which will be the beginning of the Sargonic religious wars: and while the Sukkeses began their raids and invasions in northern Aels,at the 2589 Sergei II of Gorbegea self-proclaims himself Emperor of the Holy Sargonic Empire. Carlos Alfonso IV of Botania is crowned as emperor by the Pope, which will become known as the War of the Three Emperors, conflict within the Sargonic religious wars.

The Apostate, losing support against the  will make then an alliance with the Demons of the Dark Legion (2589 a.a.H.). While the empire crumbled around the heresy and the three emperors, Blazakhov seized the opportunity and invaded the Empire, defeating the self-proclaimed Emperor Sergei II in the Battle of Hannian (2592 a.a.H.), and will conquer Sargos, the heart of the Empire, at the 2594 a.a.H.

The empire crumbled apart, and while Carlos Alfonso IV was emperor in the south and Ushaenor, the Sukkeses will defeat the forces of The Apostate in northern Sargos, conquering the north of the Holy Sargonic Empire at the 2601, taking later Sargos from the Blazakhovian at the 2607, where they will found their own empire. The Sukkeses will then defeat the Blazakhovian armies in the battle of Barlans river two years later (2609), forcing the Blazkahovian to abandon their possessions to the north of the Barlans River.

The Empire was only a pale shadow of it former self, when in Ne'Sargos will begin at the 2617 a.a.H the Rebellion of the Jesués against the Imperial rule of Carlos Alfonso IV, who proclaimed themselves emperors of Ne'Sargos, crowning as Emperor Camilo Jesué I. In the next 3 years, after a series of battles, the Jesués will expel the imperial forces of Carlos Alfonso IV from Ushaenor at the 2619, and the forces of the Sukkeses and the Apostate at the 2620 in the battle of Whidean Garden, taking control of all the north of Ushaenor.

From this, the Ne'Sargonic will conquer the islands of Novanliohn and Valknyria at the 2621, preparing for the invasion of the Imperial lands in Aels at the 2623 a.aH, landing in Huncla and La Cruz, defeating the Botanian and Sukkes forces that opposed them. At the 2624 will begin the War of Sargos as the Ne'Sargonics face the Sukkeses for the dominion of the North-western shores of Aels. The Sukkes Empire will be finally defeated at the 2629 a.a.H in the battle of the Argian fields, which will mean finally, after about 43 years of war, the Holy Sargonic Empire was again be under the banner of a single emperor, Camilo Jesué -all but Botania and Gorbegea had abandoned the empire-.

As there were efforts made to rebuild the might of the empire, some say this was one of the cause of the demons launching the Third War of the Power, to seize advantage of the disorganization after these chaotic years, before the Jesués made stronger their position. The Third War of the Power, bloodier and larger than any war fought previously in Aiers, will rage for other 42 years, until the Great Cataclysm of the year 2675 (see The Cataclysm), that will put an abrupt end to the Third War of the Powers, demonkind and all the old fantasy world of Aiers

The Cataclysm[]

With the war of the power and the cataclysm, the Holy Sargonic Empire collapsed. While some will still claim imperial authority, during the dark years of the 2675 to the 2700's, there will be no government, aside of regional or local ones, and while some still respected a figure of the emperor and the Empire, it didn't existed anymore: many others, feeling them to be abandoned in the catastrophe by the empire, will meanwhile reject the Imperial idea.

Modern Sargos[]

During the Early Modern Period, Sargos will first of all need to get itself used to the newly adquired insular condition of their territory. This shaped the firsts conflicts in the once great heart of the Holy Sargonic Empire, that was divided in city states and little realms after the dark years of the Cataclysm. The Kings of Sargos -still holding the title of Emperors of a non-existant empire- will unify the southern kingdoms and city states of Sargos in the Island Wars again in a kingdom during the 2707 to the 2730s.

As Sargos was once more unified in their new island, they will try again to go again to their naval traditions -much more needed now-, and as well engaging in conflicts with the other island realms of the new archipielago.

Sargonic kings claims of the Imperial throne will drag them -in a limited participation- to the War of the Seven Realms (2746-2760 a.a.H) and later the War of the Thirty Princes (2823-2847), wars that will bring the realm and monarchy to bankruptcy.

Republic of Sargos[]

The wars of the Jesués kings, the economic crisis and other social problems will finally lead to a depossition of the king, being proclaimed the Republic of Sargos, that will last from the 2855 to the 2933, when the Republic of Sargos, defeated by the Nicolian-Hunclech alliance will be abolished, and a pretender will become the Queen Nicole I of Sargos, beginning the short lived Nicolian dinasty, that lasted from the 2933 to the 2995, when after 62 years of rule, Queen Nicole died being 85 years old, without a succesor.

Joaquintopian Empire of Sargos[]

main article: Joaquintopian wars As Queen Nicole died without a heir, was invited to the throne a prince of one of the small principlaties in the sphere of influence of Alailë: Joaquin Rogel-Gastronomique. Crowned as Joaquin I of Sargos. As king of Sargos, he will revive the Imperial dreams of Sargos, in doing again a Holy Sargonic Empire, but without the religious elements that once where crucial to it. From his rule, it will be known this time Sargos as the Joaquintopian Empire of Sargos.

Joaquin I and his "Joaquintopia"  will wage a series of wars that will spawn in most of Aels, and as well, in Ushaenor, Hieyoks and Zarhuy. The wars will last until 3014 a.a.H, with the expulsion of the Joaquintopian empire from the Aelian mainland.

However this wouldn't be the end of the Joaquintopian Empire, that will began a colonial and Imperial race, being one of the main Aierian powers by the 3100's, and will exist until the 3200's.
