Soldarmia, officially the Republic of Soldarmia (Aspaniol: República de Soldarmia), is a South Ushaenor country occupying a long, narrow strip of land in the western shores of Ushaenor. It borders Erú to the north, Humaid to the northeast, Silveria to the east, the Malvadas to the south-east and the ocean in the far south.
Soldarmia's northern desert contains great mineral wealth, principally copper. The relatively small central area dominates in terms of population and agricultural resources, and is the cultural and political center from which Soldarmia expanded when it incorporated its northern and southern regions. Southern Soldarimia is rich in forests and grazing lands, and features a string of volcanoes and lakes. The southern coast is a labyrinth of fjords, inlets, canals twisting peninsulas, and islands, which were for centuries home to the last remnants of the once great Hake Empire.
After The Cataclysm, humans proclaimed the Kingdom of Soldarmia, expanding their sphere of influence to the north and south, but failing to conquer the independent Hake that inhabited southern Soldarmia: only after a lengthy war that lasted centuries, the Hake will be incorporated in Soldarmia.
After this, Soldarmia became the Empire of Soldarmia, which saw significant economic and territorial growth, as they ended Hake resistance and extending their zone of influence in Erú, Humaid and the Fadions, clashing with the kingdom of Silveria and the Empire of Sao Azil.
Later, they will enter in a personal union with Degoland that will last until after the Anglasecuarnian Wars. Afterwards, the Empire of Soldarmia will become a relatively stable authoritarian republic.
History[]
During the Third War of the Power, the Hake Kingdoms of Southern Ushaenor had joined the Confederation of Free Peoples, and fought important campaigns in southern Ushaenor, that ravaged the region.
After the initial success, the campaign between the Hake realms and the Aruan Empire had the Aruans revert their luck, invading the northern Hake lands at the 2644-2646 a.a.H, in the province of Sol'Dharm.
However, the Aruan Empire, only nominally allied with the Whide Axis, didn't proceeded further south, which gave a very much needed breather to the dark Elves, and aside some skirmishes, while no peace was signed, open warfare ended.
With The Cataclysm, both the Hake realms and the Aruan Empire were thrown into chaos, and the Aruan Empire collapsed, breaking apart in new independent states and a rump Aruan state, which last holdouts lasted until the 2772 a.a.H.
The southern province of the Aruan Empire became the Kingdom of Sol'Dharm, which later became Sol'Dharmia and finally, Soldarmia, in which the local Aruan elites proclaimed their independence, choosing their own king, ruling over the local lataverican humans and dark elves.
After asserting their own independence, they seek to expand their influence both to the north, to the disorganized Aruan Empire, and to the south, to the splintered Hake realms.
