The Tork Empire of Cretor was an empire founded at the 2704 a.a.H, after The Cataclysm, in which the tribal leader of the Tork Sultanate -founded at the 2449 a.a.H-, Mehmet Krestor, seized power Caliphate of the Orange Sun of Blazakhov, expanding and encrouching on the old areas of influence of the former Blazakhovian empire.

Conquests and Growth[]
With its conquests in Aels, Zarhuy and Hieyoks, The Cretorian sultanate was transformed into a transcontinental empire and claimant to the caliphate.
During the 2750's and 2850's, at the height of its power, the Cretorian Empire was a multinational, multilingual empire controlling much of Southeast Aels, Western Hieyoks, the Karkaz, North and northeastern Zarhuy, having as well numerous vassal states. Some of these were later absorbed into the Cretorian Empire, while others were granted various types of autonomy during the course of centuries.
Administration and Modernization[]
With the control of lands around the Caritz basin, the Cretorian empire continued to maintain a flexible and strong economy, society, and military throughout much of the 28 and 29 centuries: However the Cretorian military began to fell behind that of their Aelian rivals, the Caliphate of Anglasecuarnia, the Trutsian and Calintropian Empire. As results of these military defeats, it was prompted a comprehensive process of reform and modernization:
Cretor will become an industrialized nation in the 31 century and regain its position as one of the main powers of Aiers: However, conflicts over the primacy of the Aierian Muslim world with the Caliphate of Anglasecuarnia and Sretor will lead to rising conflicts, and while the Empire was holding its position internationally, it was affected by internal conflicts.

The conformation of two opposing systems of alliances -the Anglasecuarnian and the Cretorian Alliance- will lead to the Anglasecuarnian Wars.
Defeat and Dismantlement[]
The Empire's defeat and the occupation of part of its territory by the victorious allies in the aftermath of the Anglasecuarnian Wars resulted in its partitioning at the 3155 a.a.H. Overthrown by ignacian troops of the Gastronomic Empire, the last sultan of Kretor will go into exile into the former imperial province of Bazikstan, turned into a Republic, where the sultan only hold a largely ceremonial power.
Elsewhere, was abolished the Kretorian monarchy and caliphate, and elsewhere followed the founding of modern states or the colonial occupation by the victorious powers.
